Kidsport Canada

Kidsport Canada is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment for children aged 18 and under.  Financial support comes from the federal government and corporate Canada, and is dispersed through provincial and local chapters.

KidSport New Brunswick

KidSport is administered by the Recreation Department of the City of Miramichi and the province of New Brunswick. Information about the program can be obtained by clicking the link below or by calling the city recreation department: (506) 623-2054.

The deadline for applications is May 1st.

Jumpstart

Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps children (ages 4-18) in financial need to participate in organized sports and recreation across Canada.  This can include registration, equipment and/or transportation costs to a maximum of $300.  All funds are raised through a variety of local events and national in-store fundraisers across the Canadian Tire Family of Companies, which includes SportChek, Atmosphere, Canadian Tire, Canadian Tire gas bars, and Mark’s stores as well as PartSource.

The deadline for applications may vary slightly from year to year, but is typically May 1st.
